Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Record audit procedures and findings in adherence to auditing standards.
- Conduct periodic follow-up reviews to assess the effectiveness of management's corrective action plans.
- Prepare and deliver presentations on risk, internal controls, and audits as necessary.
- Remain informed about current business developments relevant to the industry.
- Prepare drafts of audit reports for review, incorporating testing results from fieldwork.
- Supervise fieldwork audits to ensure documentation supports findings and thoroughly evaluate and analyze all significant company risks. Develop audit programs aimed at identifying control weaknesses and opportunities for enhanced controls, cost savings, and operational efficiency.
- Execute internal audit projects outlined in the internal audit plan, including operational, financial, and compliance.
- Perform special reviews as needed, develop internal audit procedures, and define the internal audit scope.
- Manage assigned audit engagements from initiation to completion.
- Communicate tasks clearly to the engagement team, ensuring high-quality, accurate, and efficient results.
- Assist in training, motivating, and evaluating his/her team (team is assigned on a project basis) to ensure that the department has the necessary skill base.
LANGUAGE & TECHNICAL SKILLS
Language Proficiency
- Fluency in English.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in MS Office.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree in Accounting, or Finance, or a related field.
Professional qualification (CIA, CPA, ACCA) is a must.
Master's degree and other qualifications (CMA, CFE etc.) are a plus.
Four to six years of Audit, or a similar role.
Retail experience is a plus.
