Senior IT Administrator

Seeking experienced Senior IT Administrator to manage and support IT infrastructure across a multi-outlet retail environment. Develop and implement strategic IT infrastructure plans to support current and future business growth.

• Resolve escalated technical issues from L1 engineers.

• Administer servers (standalone and VMware), including migrations and conversions.

• Manage SIRA-regulated CCTV systems.

• Configure and maintain firewalls (PfSense) and network security policies.

• Perform and oversee regular database backups with secure offsite storage.

• Administer endpoint security solutions (e.g., Bitdefender) and threat prevention policies.

• Conduct VMware snapshots and full infrastructure backups.

• Maintain and manage Network-Attached Storage (NAS) devices.

• Handle all administrative and technical tasks for Etisalat/Du accounts (billing, renewals, documentation).

• Manage domain controllers and user access policies.

• Administer centralized access points and UniFi servers.

• Oversee server/database migrations and virtualization projects.

• Manage vendor relationships for IT infrastructure, network equipment, and other hardware.

• Review firewall rules and security measures for new IT projects.

• Delegate tasks to L1 engineers and ensure accountability for IT infrastructure.

• Provide database support to L1 engineers.

• Manage IT assets efficiently.

• Assess IT infrastructure needs and report recommendations to management.

• Lead IT implementations for new outlets.
