Senior IT Administrator

Seeking experienced Senior IT Administrator to manage and support IT infrastructure across a multi-outlet retail environment. The role is responsible for ensuring server administration (VMWare), data security, and seamless IT operations for stores, warehouses, and head office functions.

Key Responsibilities: • Oversee on-premises data center infrastructure, virtualization (VMWare), storage (SAN/NAS/HDD offline storage), and network connectivity. • Manage data backups, disaster recovery (DR), and restore processes for retail systems, servers, VMs, and shared data. • Administer IT security systems, including antivirus monitoring, firewall management, and SIRA compliance. • Act as the primary IT contact for retail technology vendors, including POS systems, weighing scales, EAS, CCTV, network, and matrix switch systems. • Manage telecom providers (Etisalat/DU) for store connectivity, new installations, outages, and billing coordination. • Provide IT support for store openings, renovations, system upgrades, and retail technology rollouts. • Handle advanced troubleshooting and escalations impacting store operations. • Review and approve IT procurement requests related to retail operations.
