Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary escalation point for complex IT help desk issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Provide advanced technical support for hardware, software, and network-related problems across the organization.
  • Monitor, prioritize, and manage help desk tickets, ensuring adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Mentor and guide junior IT help desk staff, fostering knowledge sharing and professional development.
  • Collaborate with IT infrastructure and application teams to troubleshoot and resolve systemic issues.
  • Document solutions, procedures, and best practices to enhance the IT knowledge base.
  • Coordinate with vendors and third-party service providers for specialized support and warranty claims.
  • Conduct regular system maintenance, updates, and security checks to ensure optimal performance.
  • Analyze recurring incidents to identify root causes and recommend process improvements.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including account setup and access management.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • 5-7 years of proven experience in IT help desk or technical support roles.
  • Expertise in troubleshooting Windows operating systems, as well as common business applications.
  • Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
  • Experience with Active Directory, user account management, and permissions.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective user support.
  • Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) tools and ticketing systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and support junior team members.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to work onsite and provide hands-on support as needed.
