Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities


  • Lead the landscape design discipline from concept to construction.
  • Oversee technical design, documentation, and coordination with architecture, civil, and MEP teams.
  • Develop comprehensive landscape packages including:
    Hardscape layouts
    Grading and drainage plans
    Planting and irrigation designs
    Lighting layouts and construction details
  • Ensure compliance with UAE authority standards and sustainability frameworks (Estidama, LEED, Al Sa’fat).
  • Review and approve design deliverables to maintain quality, precision, and consistency.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and subconsultants to resolve technical and site-related issues.
  • Conduct site supervision and monitor progress to ensure design intent is met.
  • Mentor and manage a team of landscape architects/designers and oversee project resource allocation.
  • Contribute to proposals, fee planning, and client presentations.
  • Promote sustainable, climate-responsive design aligned with company standards.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • 10+ years of experience, including 5+ years in the UAE.
  • Strong experience in detailed design, construction documentation, and site coordination.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, Adobe Suite, and 3D tools (Rhino, SketchUp, Lumion).
  • In-depth knowledge of irrigation, planting, hardscape detailing, and material specification.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • UAE driving license preferred.

Preferred Background

  • Experience with luxury residential, hospitality, or mixed-use developments.
  • Knowledge of sustainable landscape practices and green certification systems (LEED, Estidama).
  • Familiarity with value engineering and cost control.
