Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert legal advice and guidance on all matters affecting the company s operations, contracts, and business activities.

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including supplier, distributor, and joint venture contracts.
  • Ensure company compliance with local, regional, and international laws and regulations relevant to manufacturing, trade, and export.
  • Represent the company in legal proceedings, disputes, and negotiations with external parties, authorities, and regulatory bodies.
  • Develop and implement internal policies, procedures, and best practices to mitigate legal risks and protect company interests.
  • Monitor and interpret new legislation, regulations, and industry trends that may impact the company s business.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, marketing, and operations to support business objectives and strategic initiatives.
  • Manage relationships with external legal counsel and coordinate outsourced legal work as necessary.
  • Conduct legal training and awareness sessions for employees and stakeholders to promote compliance and ethical conduct.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate legal documentation, records, and reports for internal and external use.

Desired Candidate Profile

Minimum of 5 years of experience in legal affairs, preferably within the manufacturing or construction materials industry.

  • Proven expertise in contract law, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong understanding of local and international trade laws and regulations.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex legal projects and multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent negotiation, drafting, and analytical skills.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities in English; Arabic is a plus.
  • Experience representing organizations before regulatory authorities and in legal proceedings.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, office-based environment.
  • High ethical standards and sound judgment in handling confidential and sensitive matters.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office applications.
