Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Provide legal counsel on commercial, regulatory, corporate governance, and employment matters. Draft, review, and negotiate various legal documents including contracts, NDAs, and service agreements. Identify legal risks and recommend proactive mitigation strategies. Support litigation and dispute resolution activities, including coordination with external counsel. Ensure compliance with UAE laws and financial regulatory frameworks. Assist with regulatory filings and liaison with government authorities. Maintain legal records, statutory registers, and ensure adherence to governance standards. Advise on data privacy, intellectual property, and licensing issues. Mentor junior legal staff and contribute to continuous legal knowledge within the organization.
Desired Candidate Profile
Jurisdiction-specific law degree (JD or equivalent) from a recognized institution, with strong academic credentials.
Minimum of 9-15 years of relevant legal experience in a corporate environment, preferably in a similar industry.
Membership in a bar association or relevant legal certification demonstrating compliance with legal practice standards.
Proven experience in corporate law, litigation management, and regulatory compliance within the applicable industry.
Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail, enabling thorough evaluation of complex legal issues.
