Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Offer expert legal counsel on a wide range of issues related to corporate governance, commercial contracts, and regulatory matters.

  • Negotiate, draft, and review various agreements to ensure favorable terms and compliance with the law.
  • Manage legal disputes and litigation in coordination with external legal advisors.
  • Support the development of corporate policies and internal strategies to ensure compliance with international legal standards.
  • Advise on the legal implications of business decisions, providing strategic recommendations to executive leadership.
  • Supervise and guide junior legal staff, fostering their professional growth and development.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and stay abreast of evolving laws and regulations affecting our operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to integrate legal considerations into business processes.

Desired Candidate Profile

Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent legal qualification in a relevant jurisdiction.

  • At least 8 years of experience in legal practice, particularly as in-house counsel or in a corporate legal environment.
  • Deep knowledge of corporate law, contract law, and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong ability to analyze and navigate complex legal issues and transactions.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills with proven experience in contract negotiation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Arabic and English.
  • Leadership qualities with experience in mentoring junior team members.
  • A proactive mindset and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
