About the Role
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted legal partner for country teams and business functions across MEA.
- Draft and negotiate complex contracts and transactions independently.
- Provide strategic legal advice and deliver targeted training on key legal topics.
- Identify and mitigate legal risks, ensuring early involvement in business decisions.
- Manage significant disputes, litigation, and investigations with autonomy.
- Mentor and guide junior legal counsels, paralegals, and support staff.
- Lead and develop legal resources to strengthen compliance and business support.
Desired Candidate Profile
Essential Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Law with strong academic foundation.
- Minimum 7 years post-qualification experience in legal practice or corporate counsel roles.
- Proven expertise in contract negotiation and complex legal risk assessment.
- Ability to manage litigation and investigations independently with sound judgment.
- Fluency in Arabic and English; French is an advantage.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and business partnering skills across diverse regions.
Desirable Requirements
- Experience working across multiple jurisdictions in the Middle East and Africa region.
- Proficiency in French to support broader regional engagement.
