Core Accountabilities

• Knowledge and know-how of Export and Import process (Clearing port activities).
• Spearhead Inventory Management.
• Should have knowledge of Excise, finance & Custom Clearance.
• Knowledge of Global Logistics in international trade, Operations, Analysis.
• Develop logistics along with support plans, budget requirements and deployment timelines for new operations.
• Develop logistical plans for current operations and logistics contingency plans.
• Develop and execute tools and methodologies to enable effective implementation of logistic plans.
• Design and develop standard operating methods to manage logistics operations efficiently.
• Ensure accountable, timely and cost-effective release of peacekeeping cargos along with personnel.
• Develop and execute logistics support policy, processes and methodologies to general benefit of all units.
• Develop reports on material and personnel movements and various operational logistics problems.
• Handling orders, making negotiation follow up deliveries, prepare delivery documents.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders for shipment.
• Should have experience working with Shipping and handling formalities.
  
  

Experience & Educational Qualification

• Diploma in business/commercial or manufacturing/engineering. Bachelors degree in relevant field is preferred.
• 5 years of experience in relevant field.
• Analytical and technical skills required to understand business practices and recommend proper automation and tracking opportunities.
