Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
A leading Telecom company in the MEA region is looking for Senior Logistics Coordinator to join their team in Beirut. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment and be part of a team driving operational excellence across the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage all logistics operations, including shipping, warehousing, and transportation of goods.
- Plan and oversee the end-to-end supply chain process to ensure timely delivery to various destinations, including Africa.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock and prevent shortages or overstock situations.
- Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and transport companies to ensure smooth and cost-effective logistics operations.
- Prepare and process all necessary shipping documentation, customs clearance, and compliance paperwork.
- Track shipments and provide regular updates to internal teams on delivery status, delays, or issues.
- Negotiate rates and contracts with logistics service providers to optimize cost efficiency.
- Analyze logistics performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement process enhancements.
- Collaborate with procurement and purchasing teams to align logistics with supply needs.
- Ensure compliance with all local and international shipping regulations and company policies.
- Report regularly to management on logistics KPIs, challenges, and operational performance.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Logistics, Operations, Business, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in logistics, purchasing, or procurement, preferably within a similar industry.
- Proven experience with shipping and logistics operations to African countries.
- Excellent command of French and English, both written and spoken.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with international partners.
