Senior Magento Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Magento Developer with strong expertise in Magento 2 and API development. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance Magento-based eCommerce solutions, integrating third-party services via REST SOAP APIs, and leading best development practices.

Duties, Responsibility and Authority

Design and develop custom Magento 2 architecture and scalable extensions.

Develop and integrate RESTful and SOAP APIs with external systems including ERP, CRM, shipping, and payment gateways.

Responsible for both frontend and backend Magento 2 development.

Take ownership of Magento template coding and payment gateway integration.

Optimize website performance, security, and scalability.

Manage and maintain databases and server configurations.

Independently handle eCommerce modules using OOP PHP and Magento APIs.

Troubleshoot complex integration and compatibility issues across systems.

Lead code reviews and enforce high standards of code quality and best practices.

Regularly update website features and security patches.

Develop and implement new functionality and custom features as needed.

Oversee and monitor key site metrics, dashboards, and reporting tools.

Collaborate closely with internal teams including Marketing, Sales, and Strategy.

Coordinate with external partners, agencies, and distributors for integration and deployment.

Keep up to date with latest Magento releases, tools, and industry trends.

Qualifications:

Minimum 7+ years of professional experience in Magento 2 development.

Proficient in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

Solid experience in API development and third-party integration REST, SOAP

Magento 2 Certification Developer Developer Plus

Familiarity with PWA Studio, GraphQL, and headless commerce.

Knowledge of CI CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.

Experience with cloud platforms AWS

Background in working with enterprise eCommerce or high-traffic websites.

Experience managing Linux servers, web hosting, and database configurations.

Deep understanding of Magento architecture, themes, modules, and caching strategies.

Strong knowledge of Git, Composer, and deployment processes.

Experience in performance optimization, including Varnish, Redis, and CDN.

Ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable code.

Excellent troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
