Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • To provide architectural design management on the sports assets working closely with the Development Lead, Senior Director of Design, Project Design Director and the LDC's and their sub-consultants.
  • To ensure coordination of the design and engineering with all disciplines.
  • To closely work with the development team to align to budgets and project timescales.
  • To manage weekly design meetings.
  • To coordinate with the Master developer where required.
  • To ensure the assets meet all building codes including City Framework standards and other standards required by federations.
  • To keep abreast of any changing codes and ensure they are adopted.
  • To ensure the consultants meet their deliverables as per the contract.
  • To review all drawings / deliverables and approve or comment as required using the CRS process

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's or Master s degree in Architecture or related field.
  • At least 7-15 years of professional experience in architectural design, with significant experience in sports facility design.
  • Strong knowledge of sports architecture requirements, including stadiums, arenas, and related infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, and other relevant tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary design teams and manage complex projects.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working within the Middle East region is preferred.
  • Deep understanding of sustainable design principles and building codes.
