Technical Capabilities:

• Ability to understand business and technical requirements and translate them in custom end to end architecture based on client needs.
• Ability to understand and modernize traditional data platform architectures with concepts like Agentic AI.
• Ability to architect an end to end Agentic AI architecture, with the required governance and orchestration architecture components in place.
• Led several large implementations of data platforms across public sector.
• Hands-on proven knowledge on preparing data engineering pipelines using at least one o the tools and platforms such as Informatica, Talend, Pentaho, T-SQL, Python, Spark, or any other cloud hyperscaler (AWS, Azure, GCP, Oracle OCI).
• Hands-on experience with SQL like databases is a must. Hands-on experience with Iceberg, Delta Tables and Hadoop will be plus.
• Hands-on experience in designing and maintaining physical data models for data warehouses (dimensional models) or operational databases (relational models).
• Hands-on experience in designing and implementing real time / event-based data engineering pipelines is a plus.
• Hands-on experience in designing and implementing data ingestion pipelines from various data sources such as APIs, Web Services, Databases, Streams, Files, Object Storage etc.
• Hands-on experience on designing and implementing slowly changing dimensions will be a plus.
• Hands-on experience in orchestrating multiple data engineering pipelines based on data source and business needs.
• Hands-on experience in designing and managing the end-to-end deployment of data engineering pipelines using appropriate DevOps practices and tools.
• Proven experience in conducting data source analysis, source to target mapping and transformation rule design and definition.
• Ability to collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Hands-on experience in applying data quality frameworks and rules within data engineering pipelines will be a plus.
• Ability to conduct performance tuning and optimization of data processing and analytics workflows to maximize efficiency and scalability.

Required Qualifications:

• Undergraduate or Postgraduate Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or other Science Major
• Minimum 10 years of experience required
• Experience in public sector is a must
• Arabic Speaker is preference
• 6-10 years of hands-on Data Engineering & Architecture experience designing and implementing data engineering pipelines, ETL frameworks, physical data models (dimensional and relational), data pipeline orchestration and other data engineering related activities as per technical capabilities on the previous section.
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Ability to handle multiple task and responsibilities in a deadline-oriented environment and flexible work hours
• Willingness to travel across GCC region (75% of time)

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Big Four or Global System Integrators is a plus.
• Arabic language is a plus.
• Professional Certification in any of the above-mentioned tools or platforms will be a plus.
