Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
To drive profitable growth of the FMCG import export business through strategic sourcing, margin optimization, and strengthening of the existing team capabilities.
*Key Responsibilities:*
Identify and develop international suppliers with focus on high margin and fast moving product categories.
Drive product portfolio strategy to improve overall margins and reduce low yielding SKUs.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and supply conditions to ensure competitive advantage.
Build and implement structured sourcing and procurement processes.
Guide and upgrade current team capabilities.
Identify new market opportunities, product gaps, and emerging trends.
Work closely with finance and operations to ensure healthy working capital and inventory turnover.
Establish vendor performance tracking and cost optimization initiatives.
Ensure compliance with import regulations, documentation, and logistics coordination.
Desired Candidate Profile
5 to 10 years experience in FMCG import export or trading business
Strong supplier network and sourcing experience across international markets
Proven track record in margin improvement and product strategy
Leadership ability to mentor and upgrade team performance
Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
Good understanding of logistics, import regulations, and documentation.

Supplier development and cost savings achieved
Inventory turnover and working capital efficiency
Contribution to revenue growth with profitability focus.
