Senior Manager Litigation

They are seeking a high-calibre Senior Manager Litigation (Arabic speaker) to lead and manage all litigation, arbitration, and dispute-related matters of the organization, ensuring effective protection of the company's legal and commercial interests, while minimizing risk and exposure through proactive dispute strategy and management.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage litigation, and dispute resolution matters across the organization
• Manage pre-litigation processes, including notices, claims, and dispute positioning
• Oversee and manage external legal counsel, including selection, briefing, and performance
• Review pleadings, submissions, legal opinions, evidence to ensure quality and consistency
• Coordinate with project, commercial, and finance teams on claims and dispute matters
• Oversee collection, preservation, and management of evidence and documentation
• Provide legal advice on dispute avoidance and contractual risk management
• Prepare and present reports to senior management on dispute status and risk exposure
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies
• Maintain proper records and audit trails for all litigation matters
• Support internal stakeholders with legal guidance on disputes and claims
• Identify potential disputes early and implement preventive measures
• Mentor and guide junior legal team members (if applicable)
• Stay updated on UAE laws, court practices, and arbitration developments
