Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Lead the design, governance, and rollout of Aldar Education s LMS across all schools.

Ensure the LMS platform structure supports curriculum delivery, learning progression, and teaching workflows across K 13.

Establish the operational framework, processes, and governance protocols required to manage and scale the platform effectively.

Drive adoption, training, and change management to ensure effective use of the platform by teachers, students, and school leaders.

Ensure the LMS enables robust reporting and visibility of learning activity and performance across class, grade, school, and group HQ levels

Define and manage the long-term strategic roadmap for the LMS platform beyond the initial rollout phase.

Monitor usage, adoption, and learning engagement data to identify improvement opportunities and drive continuous platform enhancement.

Act as the central point of coordination between education teams, schools, and the Digital & Technology Services team for LMS development and optimization.

Platform Design & Implementation

  • Define and oversee the structural design of the LMS environment including course hierarchy, grade structures, user roles, and permissions.
  • Ensure the platform supports standardized delivery across schools while enabling flexibility for subject and curriculum needs.
  • Lead the implementation and phased rollout of the LMS across the school network.
  • Manage the internal developer responsible for Moodle configuration and platform customization.

Governance & Operational Framework

  • Establish governance protocols, standards, and best practices for LMS use across schools.
  • Develop processes for course creation, content management, assessment structures, and digital learning workflows.
  • Ensure alignment between LMS usage and curriculum objectives across the group.

Training, Adoption & Change Management

  • Use Design and deliver a structured LMS training framework for teachers, school leaders, and relevant staff.
  • Lead change management initiatives to support successful platform adoption across the network.
  • Develop guidance materials, training resources, and best practice frameworks for LMS.

Data Visibility & Reporting

  • Ensure the LMS architecture enables data visibility across:
  • Classroom level
  • Grade level
  • School level
  • Group HQ level
  • Develop reporting dashboards and analytics that provide insights into:
  • Teacher engagement with the platform
  • Student learning activity and progress
  • Course delivery and completion metrics
  • Digital learning maturity across schools
  • Partner with leadership teams to translate LMS insights into actionable educational improvements.

Strategic Roadmap & Continuous Improvement

  • Define the long-term strategic roadmap for the LMS platform.Identify opportunities to expand platform capabilities including:
  • Advanced learning analytics
  • AI-enabled learning tools
  • Personalised learning pathways
  • Integration with other education technologies
  • Monitor adoption and platform effectiveness, continuously refining platform capabilities based on feedback and data.

Stakeholder Management

  • Work closely with school leadership, academic teams, and digital teams to ensure LMS capabilities align with educational needs.
  • Act as the primary HQ contact for LMS-related strategy, performance monitoring, and platform evolution.
  • Engage with vendors and partners where required to support platform enhancement.

Desired Candidate Profile

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Education, Technology, Digital Learning, or related field
  • Relevant professional experience working with schools, education environments, or digital platforms.
  • Experience in training, support, or change enablement is an advantage

Minimum Experience

  • 5 10 years of experience in technology, digital learning platforms, or LMS program leadership
  • Experience implementing or managing LMS platforms such as Moodle, Canvas, Blackboard, or similar systems
  • Experience managing digital transformation initiatives in large scale organisations

Job Specific Knowledge & Skills

  • Deep understanding of Learning Management Systems and digital learning ecosystems
  • Experience with Moodle (or similar) platform architecture and configuration (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of curriculum delivery, digital pedagogy, and learning workflows
  • Experience leading platform implementation and change management across large organizations
  • Strong stakeholder management skills across education and technology environments
  • Ability to translate educational needs into technical platform capabilities
