Role Overview

We are looking for a Technical Services Senior Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of all technical infrastructure for a large-scale international football tournament. This role will oversee multiple technical workstreams including power, ICT, broadcast, and venue systems, ensuring seamless integration and operational readiness across all venues.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the overall technical services strategy across multiple venues and clusters
Oversee planning and delivery of key technical systems including power, ICT, broadcast, AV, and related infrastructureCoordinate with design, overlay, and operations teams to ensure technical requirements are fully integrated
Manage technical vendors, consultants, and contractors across all phases (design, installation, testing, operations)
Ensure all systems are delivered in line with timelines, budgets, and quality standards
Oversee testing, commissioning, and readiness of all technical infrastructure
Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies across all technical workstreams
Support venue readiness, test events, and live operations
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and technical standards
Provide regular reporting to senior stakeholders and leadership teams

Requirements

Minimum 10+ years of experience in technical services, infrastructure, or engineering roles
Strong background in large-scale events, sports tournaments, or complex infrastructure projects
Experience managing multiple technical disciplines (power, ICT, AV, broadcast, etc.)
Proven experience managing vendors and large technical teams
Strong understanding of systems integration and technical delivery lifecycle
Experience working in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Relevant engineering or technical qualification preferred
Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus
