Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of mechanical systems for marine applications.

  • Perform Gear dynamic system design studies to ensure operational safety, efficiency, and durability under marine conditions.
  • Conduct FEA for steel structures, evaluating stress, fatigue, and load-bearing performance for compliance with international standards.
  • Generate and review detailed CAD models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings using Siemens NX.
  • Optimize designs for efficiency, weight, performance, and cost-effectiveness while maintaining safety and quality standards.
  • Perform simulations, structural analysis, and fluid dynamics studies to validate system performance.
  • Prepare detailed technical reports, design justifications, and compliance documentation.
  • Ensure all designs meet classification of marine engineering regulations.
  • Oversee the engineering lifecycle from concept through production, installation, and commissioning.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (electrical, controls, production, QA/QC) to integrate systems.
  • Drive innovations in dynamic system design, hydro-static performance, and steel structure optimization.
  • Implement new simulation methods, advanced CAD tools, and automation techniques.
  • Support R&D initiatives in marine technology and system reliability enhancement.
