Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer specializing in plumbing works to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have extensive UAE experience, deep knowledge of Abu Dhabi mechanical system requirements, and proven expertise in plumbing, drainage, and HVAC systems design, operations, and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all design activities related to plumbing, drainage, and HVAC systems.
- Ensure compliance with Abu Dhabi mechanical codes, standards, and authority regulations.
- Prepare, review, and submit designs, drawings, and technical documentation to relevant authorities (ADM, ADCD, Estidama, etc.).
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and clients to resolve technical issues and respond to authority comments.
- Oversee HVAC operations and maintenance activities.
- Provide technical guidance to the project team to ensure quality and timely delivery.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, accredited in the UAE.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the UAE, with strong exposure to Abu Dhabi projects.
- In-depth knowledge of Abu Dhabi mechanical system requirements and regulations.
- Proficient in plumbing, drainage, and HVAC system design.
- Strong understanding of mechanical codes and local authority processes.
- Familiar with HVAC operations and maintenance.
- Experience in authority submissions and technical compliance (ADM, ADCD, Estidama, etc.).
- Valid UAE driving license.
