Senior Mechanical Engineer

Our company is seeking to hire a Senior Mechanical Engineer to independently manage all mechanical engineering activities on the client side of projects in Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent the client technically on-site and follow up on mechanical works.
• Review and verify mechanical works according to approved drawings, Saudi Building Code requirements, Civil Defense regulations, and project-specific specifications.
• Inspect HVAC systems, plumbing, fire protection, smoke management systems, and related mechanical systems.
• Review IFC drawings and Shop Drawings, identify clashes and design gaps, and follow up on buildable issue resolutions.
• Supervise testing, commissioning, address punch list items, and ensure final handover.
• Prepare clear technical reports, follow up on defects, and ensure they are closed.
• Review final drawings, operation and maintenance manuals, warranties, and handover documents.
• Attend technical and site meetings with contractors, consultants, and clients.

Requirements:

• Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Total experience of 10 12 years, with at least 5 years in consultancy, PMC, or client-side roles.
• Strong experience with high-rise buildings, commissioning, and final handover stages.
• In-depth knowledge of Saudi Building Code and Civil Defense requirements.
• Hands-on experience with HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and smoke management systems.
• Strong reporting and communication skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and inspection/reporting tools.
• English is required; fluency in Arabic is an added advantage.

Work Location: Saudi Arabia
Role Scope: Holds the technical authority to accept or reject mechanical works on behalf of the client.
