Senior Mechanical Engineer

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team!

What You'll Be Doing:

• Able to size the internal components of the different types of pumping stations (water / sewage / storm / Irrigation) including tanks, wet wells, pumps, piping, disinfection systems .etc.
• Professional in preparation of the whole pumping calculations including head, NPSH..etc.
• Able to understand the wastewater treatment plants' process calculations
• Able to prepare the design reports and design basis.
• can lead the drafting team to complete the drawing packages.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum of 7 years of design work experience.
• Previous experience of working in Consultancy

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Have a strong experience in design of the pumping stations mechanical works.
• Have a great experience in design of the water and wastewater treatment plants.
• Have a strong understanding in philosophy of operation of different pumping systems
• Capable of using on CAD tools for preparation of the concept design drawings.
• Candidate must was being working in a series of projects during all different design stages not only single or two projects.
• Must be aware about the international design codes, standard and regulations.
• Having design review experience (preferred).
• Having technical submittals review experience (preferred).
