Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Lead the development, and optimization of mechanical systems and components for film manufacturing processes.

Oversee installation, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical equipment to ensure maximum operational efficiency.

Supervise utilities and do the needful maintenance for it.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and troubleshoot technical issues.

Conduct root cause analysis of mechanical failures and develop corrective and preventive action plans.

Prepare and review technical documentation, including specifications, drawings, and maintenance manuals.

Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies in all engineering activities.

Manage and mentor junior engineers and technicians, providing technical guidance and support.

Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and materials to enhance production capabilities.

Monitor equipment performance metrics and implement strategies to reduce downtime and maintenance costs.

Coordinate with vendors and contractors for procurement, installation, and servicing of mechanical systems.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

3-5 years of proven experience in mechanical engineering, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Strong knowledge of mechanical design, maintenance, and troubleshooting of industrial equipment.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work on-site and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Familiarity with safety standards and regulatory compliance in manufacturing.

Proven track record of implementing process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
