Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Review, monitor, and verify all news items, press releases, and publications related to Alexandria Business Association.
  • Attend ABA events, meetings, conferences, and official activities to provide full media coverage.
  • Prepare professional content for event coverage, including news summaries, reports, photography coordination, and post-event communication.
  • Liaise with journalists, media agencies, and communication partners to ensure accurate and timely dissemination of information.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with media outlets and key stakeholders.
  • Ensure that all published content aligns with ABA s communication strategy, identity guidelines, and professional standards.
  • Provide internal teams with media insights, trends, and key communication updates.
  • Contribute to strengthening ABA s visibility through creative storytelling and strong media presence.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor s degree in Media, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 7 years of relevant experience in media, communications, or public relations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven experience in event coverage and media coordination.
  • Excellent networking skills with established media connections.
  • Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
  • High attention to detail, professionalism, and a strong sense of ownership.
