Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and manage Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for MEP and ELV systems.
  • Conduct cost estimation, rate analysis, and tender evaluation for MEP works.
  • Review and process variation and claim submissions in coordination with project and commercial teams.
  • Handle upstream and downstream payment measurement and certification.
  • Prepare interim payment applications, cost reports, and final accounts.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams for cost and contractual compliance.
  • Maintain proper documentation for commercial and contractual correspondence.
  • Support budget control, cost forecasting, and value engineering initiatives.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

  • B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.
  • 7+ years of experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor in MEP / ELV projects.
  • Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, variation evaluation, and cost estimation.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and quantity take-off tools (Bluebeam, Planswift, etc.).
  • Familiar with FIDIC and standard contractual procedures.
  • Excellent analytical, coordination, and communication skills.
  • Experience working with EPC or major contracting companies preferred.
