Senior Microsoft Security Engineer

This is a hands-on engineering role focused on strengthening identity, endpoint, email, and threat detection capabilities across the Microsoft security ecosystem. The successful candidate will play a key role in implementing, operating, and improving enterprise security controls across a large-scale environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, MFA, and Privileged Identity Management (PIM)

• Deploy and support Microsoft Sentinel, Defender XDR, and endpoint security solutions across the organisation

• Manage and harden Microsoft Intune across Windows, iOS, and Android environments

• Support threat detection, incident response, SIEM tuning, playbook development, and security investigations

• Administer and secure Microsoft 365 platforms including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive

Requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft security technologies including Entra ID, Sentinel, Defender, and Intune

• Experience with SIEM, endpoint security, and identity & access management solutions

• Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 security and enterprise security operations

• Experience with PowerShell scripting, KQL, and security automation preferred

• Good communication skills with the ability to work across technical and business teams
