Roles & Responsibilities

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Network Engineer who will be responsible for field implementation, troubleshooting, and support of enterprise network infrastructure. The ideal candidate must possess strong hands-on experience with routing, switching, security, and wireless technologies, while ensuring high-quality service delivery to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot network devices including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points.
  • Provide on-site technical support for various network-related issues.
  • Perform network upgrades, preventive maintenance, and system monitoring to ensure optimal performance.
  • Assist in network design, deployment, and documentation for customer projects.
  • Resolve escalated technical cases within defined SLAs and ensure proper follow-up.
  • Conduct testing, validation, and cut-over support for network changes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to deliver successful project outcomes.

Core Competencies & Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in:
    • Cisco Security, Routing, Switching & Wireless
  • Added Advantage:
    • Experience with HPE, Juniper, and Extreme Networks solutions
  • Preferred Knowledge:
    • Fortinet and Palo Alto Firewall administration and troubleshooting

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT / Computer Science / Electronics or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in network engineering or IT support role (Field exposure preferred).
  • Relevant certifications such as CCNA / CCNP (or equivalent) are an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with customer-focused attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in field environments.
