Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Design, configure, and deploy enterprise and carrier-grade network solutions (routing, switching, MPLS, SD WAN, datacenter fabrics) for on-site customers in Qatar.

  • Lead troubleshooting and incident response for complex network faults perform packet captures, root-cause analysis, and corrective remediation to meet SLAs.
  • Implement and manage network security controls: firewalls, VPNs, segmentation, and access control policies; collaborate with security teams for vulnerability remediation.
  • Maintain and optimize routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), QoS policies for voice/data, and traffic-engineering for high-availability services.
  • Develop and execute network changes, upgrades, and migrations with formal change control, configuration management, and rollback plans.
  • Document network architecture, create runbooks, and mentor junior engineers; participate in on-call rota and NOC escalations.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • 5+ years hands-on experience in enterprise/carrier networking (LAN/WAN, datacenter networking, routing & switching).
  • Proven experience with BGP, OSPF, MPLS and VPN technologies and troubleshooting tools (Wireshark, NetFlow, SNMP).
  • Strong knowledge of firewall platforms and network security best practices (FortiGate, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA or equivalent).
  • Certifications such as CCNP, JNCIP or equivalent; fluent English; Arabic language skills are a plus.
