Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
As a Senior Network Safety Engineer (L3), you will be the pillar of the stability, performance and security of our network infrastructures and those of our customers. You will work as a technical expert on a rich and complex technological field, while ensuring a leading role with the support teams.
Your key responsibilities will include:

Operations and Incident Management (ITIL):
- Lead the management of incidents (L3), problems, changes and configuration of safety equipment.
- Analyze and resolve complex production incidents, conduct crisis conferences during degraded or interrupted flows.
- Manage the level 3 backlog and ensure service level compliance (SLAs).

Expertise and evolution of Security Infrastructures:
- Manage and supervise the security infrastructure of Data Centers (DC).
- Implement, administer and troubleshoot firewalls (Palo Alto, Check Point, FortiGate) and SD-WAN solutions (Fortinet, Cato Networks).
- Manage load balancer (F5 BIG-IP), including the creation and management of VIPs.
- Administer proxy solutions (BlueCoat) and DNS servers (creation, whitlist, troubleshooting).
- Manage the connection of new partner sites via L2L (site-site), IPSEC, GRE and crossco VPNs.
- Ensure that systems and equipment are up-to-date (patching).

Flow and Access Management:
- Analyze, validate (technically and functionally) and implement requests for the opening of flows (DOF/ACL) in collaboration with the NSOC teams (N2).
- Manage rights and access to equipment and tools via solutions such as Cisco ISE.

Continuous Improvement and Leadership:
- To provide technical supervision to the level 2 team (NSOC), to ensure their development in skills and to transfer knowledge to them.
- Propose and implement optimizations to improve quality of service, productivity and safety.
- Write and maintain operating procedures, processes and technical documentation.
- Actively participate in technology monitoring and the management of relationships with suppliers and publishers.
- Produce activity reports, track performance indicators (KPIs) and write clear and concise reports.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications
- Formation: Engineering degree or Master's degree (Bac+5) in Computer Science, specialising in networks or security.
- Experience: You have at least 10 years of experience in IP network and security management, acquired within a telecom operator or a large company (CAC 40), with proven expertise in Data Center infrastructures.
- Leadership: You have the ability to technically supervise teams (N2), pass on your knowledge and manage complex subjects.
- Soft Skills :
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Sense of customer service and very good interpersonal skills.
- Collaborative spirit and ability to work in a team.
- Autonomy, rigor and proactivity.
- Languages: An advanced level of English (oral and written) is essential to change with clients, international partners and publishers.
Essential technical skills
- Firewalls : Expertise sur Palo Alto, Check Point, FortiGate.
- Load Balancing: Significant experience with the F5 BIG-IP.
- Proxy & Web Security: Knowledge of BlueCoat solutions and NETSKOPE Cloud Proxies
- S& SD-WAN: Strong skills in routing, switching, BGP, and experience in SD-WAN solutions (Fortinet, Cato Networks).
- VPN/DNS/SNAT: My deepened trise.
- Remote access: Knowledge of solutions such as Pulse Secure - IVANTI.
- Analyse & Troubleshooting : Capacit analyser des captures de paquets r seau (Wireshark).
- Knowledge of VMware NSX-T and Cisco ISE would be a strong asset.
- Log management and management: Grafana,logM,splunk
