Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Role Purpose:
Responsible for setting up, developing, and maintaining computer networks within an organization or between organizations. Offering support to users, who can be staff, clients, customers, and suppliers, and troubleshoot any problems that arise; this may in some cases involve designing new networks. Ensures the integrity of high availability network infrastructure to provide maximum performance for your users. Furthermore, responsible for the risk assessment, identifying vulnerabilities within a network, and creating firewalls, or configuring systems to enhance existing security features.
Role Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Operations tasks for various network and security devices and services in a multi-vendor environment (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, SIEM, load balancers, WAF, VPN, IPS, NAC & Endpoint solutions)
- Implementation for Network and security complex solutions, multi-vendor environment
- Integration between network and security devices in a multi-vendor environment
- Implementation and troubleshooting Voice over IP, and Cisco Collaboration solution, and future planning
- Performs network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations
- Monitors network performance and ensure system availability and reliability, and prepare future planning
- Monitors security system and users behavior, to detect and response to security risks, and prepares for future security systems enhancement
- Provides Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues
- Configuration control and security policies monitoring to ensure infrastructure, network and security reliable and smooth operation
- Assesses security tools, policies, and procedures to be complied with corporate standards
- Vendor management, and other IT personnel for problem resolution
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or a related subject
Experience:
- 5-7 years of extensive hands-on experience in network implementations and configurations including (but not limited to) Cisco Switches, Routers, Firewalls, IPS, and VOIP
Job-Specific Skills:
- Solid understanding of data networking including deep knowledge of TCP/IP
- Working experience in deploying, securing and operating cisco and juniper devices
- Understanding of OWASP top 10
- Deploying, managing and fine tuning F5 local traffic manager (LTM)
- Deploying, managing and fine tuning F5 application security manager (ASM)
- Solid understanding and working experience in deploying and operating intrusion prevention systems (IPS) MacAfee IPS is preferred
- Solid understanding and working experience in end-point-protection (Symantec) is preferred
- Working experience in deploying designing, implementing and auditing firewalls and proxies including cisco ASA, firepower and Palo Alto firewall
- Solid understanding and working experience in Microsoft Active directory and Group policy
- Power user level of Linux operating system
- Working experience in continues monitoring and proactive mitigation techniques.
- Solid security analytic assessments, testing, and scanning.
- Deep knowledge of using packet analysis tools (tcpdump, Wireshark, ngrep, etc.)
- Solid understanding and working experience in deploying and operating VPNs including IPSec site-to-site and remote access.
- Professional documentation skills
- Ability to work within a team is a must
