Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Strategic

  1. Establish, develop, and operationalize malomatia’s centralized change management function, including defining governance frameworks, operating models, standard operating procedures, and intake processes to ensure consistent and effective change management across the enterprise.

  2. Design and implement enterprise-wide change management strategies aligned with malomatia’s strategic goals and transformation vision, ensuring that change initiatives contribute to long-term organizational success and sustainability.

  3. Partner with senior leadership to understand organizational needs and align change management initiatives with overall business strategy, ensuring that the change process supports organizational growth, innovation, and digital transformation.

  4. Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, providing insights, recommendations, and thought leadership on change management approaches, organizational readiness, and execution risks.

  5. Define, implement, and maintain governance models, decision frameworks, prioritization mechanisms, and escalation procedures to support structured change intake, triage, and execution.

  6. Lead the development and continuous improvement of change management policies, standards, tools, and methodologies, ensuring institutionalization of best practices across the organization.

  7. Define and track strategic KPIs for change management initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and providing structured performance updates to senior leadership.

  8. Continuously monitor the progress of transformation projects, reviewing their alignment with the organization’s strategy, and ensuring that changes are sustained over the long term.

  9. Ensure compliance with malomatia’s strategic policies, procedures, and governance requirements across all change and transformation initiatives.

  10. Drive sustainability of change by ensuring that adoption, reinforcement, and long-term embedding of change practices are built into transformation initiatives.

Operational

  1. Design and execute comprehensive change management plans for organizational transformation initiatives, including change scope definition, impact assessments, readiness activities, and mitigation strategies.

  2. Implement and manage hands-on change management activities across multiple concurrent initiatives, ensuring timely execution and quality delivery.

  3. Collaborate closely with project managers, PMO, and transformation teams to ensure change management activities are fully integrated into project plans, milestones, and delivery timelines.

  4. Support stakeholder engagement activities, including communication delivery, training coordination, awareness sessions, and engagement forums to support change readiness and adoption.

  5. Directly engage with employees and leaders as a front-line change function, addressing concerns, gathering feedback, and supporting smooth transitions during periods of change.

  6. Identify potential change-related risks, resistance points, and adoption challenges, and develop and implement mitigation actions to minimize disruption and resistance.

  7. Track and monitor change effectiveness through adoption metrics, KPI tracking, performance data, and employee feedback, and use insights to inform corrective actions.

  8. Prepare and present reports, dashboards, and insights to senior leadership on progress, risks, outcomes, and improvement opportunities related to change initiatives.

  9. Develop, document, and maintain standard operating procedures, workflows, templates, and guidance materials related to change management execution.

  10. Continuously assess change management processes and tools, capturing lessons learned and recommending improvements to enhance effectiveness and scalability.

  11. Coordinate closely with HR, IT, Communications, and other corporate functions to ensure alignment, readiness, and consistent execution across the organization.

  12. Ensure impacted teams have the necessary resources, guidance, and support to successfully adopt and sustain change initiatives.

  13. Apply strong facilitation, communication, and negotiation skills to support alignment and resolution across stakeholders at all organizational levels.

  14. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Senior Manager – Change & Transformation in support of organizational objectives.

Desired Candidate Profile

Desired Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in business administration with specialization in Strategy from a recognized university.

Language Requirement: English, Arabic (preferred)

Desired Experience:

Minimum 5+ years of related experience of which a minimum of 3 years should be in a similar position / responsibility, preferably 1-3 years in a similar Industry.

Change management certification required (Prosci, ACMP, CCMP, or equivalent)

Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus

Job Specific Skills

  • Knowledge of established change management methodologies and the ability to apply them effectively.

  • Experience in managing transformation projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring progress.

  • Familiarity with project management, process improvement initiatives, and collaboration tools

  • Proven experience building or scaling a change management function or center of excellence

  • Demonstrate experience developing governance frameworks, SOPs, and operational processes

  • Experience managing change across multiple projects simultaneously

  • Experience establishing intake processes, triage systems, and prioritization frameworks
