Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
To manage component exchange and leasing activities, including pool and dispatch agreements, ensuring component availability and cost-effective support during operational shortages.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manages component exchange and leasing activities to ensure the timely availability of rotable components supporting operational requirements and AOG recovery.
- Evaluates support options, including loan, exchange, or purchase, to determine the most effective solution balancing operational urgency, cost, and component availability.
- Coordinates exchange, loan, and leasing arrangements with vendors and service providers to secure timely component support.
- Manages the full lifecycle of pool programme transactions, including raising demand, component dispatch, core return, and monitoring compliance with agreed service levels.
- Monitors pool agreement performance, including component availability, response times, and SLA compliance, to ensure effective operational support.
- Coordinate between Engineering & Maintenance and relevant corporate functions for contractual arrangements, approvals, and financial processing related to exchange, leasing and pool transactions.
- Monitors exchange and leasing timelines and ensures the timely return of core units in accordance with contractual obligations.
- Coordinates shipment and logistics arrangements with internal logistics teams and suppliers to support exchange, lease, and pool transactions.
- Maintains accurate records of exchange, leasing, and pool transactions within Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and maintenance systems.
- Coordinates with Rotable Planning and Repair Administration teams to evaluate exchange-versus-repair decisions to optimise cost and component recovery.
- Monitors utilisation of exchange, leasing, and pool programmes to identify opportunities for cost optimisation and improved component support.
- Coordinates with Engineering & Maintenance teams to anticipate component shortages and proactively arrange exchange, leasing, or pool support.
- Prepares reports and analyses related to exchange, leasing, and pool utilisation, including cost performance and operational impact.
- Supports audits and compliance reviews by ensuring accurate documentation of exchange, leasing, and pool transactions.
- Identifies and supports continuous improvement initiatives to optimise component support programmes and operational efficiency.
Desired Candidate Profile
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree (3+ years)
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Aviation Management, Supply Chain, or related discipline.
- Fluent in English
- Experience in aviation materials management, rotable support, component leasing, pool programmes, or supply chain operations within an airline, MRO, or aviation-related organisation.
- Knowledge of aviation ERP or maintenance systems such as AMOS, TRAX, or equivalent, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel or inventory planning tools.
- Years with qualifications: 5 - 7 years
- Relevant aviation or supply chain certifications are an advantage.

ISR REQUIREMENTS
Reads and complies with the ISR policies of the Company and diligently reports any weakness or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team. Completes all required ISR awareness sessions and follows associated guidelines in the day-to-day business operations.
