Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

The incumbent will be responsible for checking LC/SBLC/Collection documents under Export/Import as per Bank s internal policies as well as ICC guidelines and lodging the transactions in the processing system.

The coverage will be all the areas of Trade Finance for various business segments

Document checking against L/C or SBLC should be as per UCP/ISBP/ISP as applicable and corresponding to all applicable ICC guidelines as well as internal policies of the bank

Perform sanction checking of relevant parties in documents

Handle Commodity Trade Operations documents

Responsible for inputting documents into the system and prepare SWIFT for advising

Ad-hoc tasks given by the Team Head

Ensure errors/knowledge gaps resulting in rejection of docs are shared with line manager/team to address customer service issues.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor's Degree

At least 5-8 years of relevant working experiences in Trade Operations

Document checking experience of 2-3 years is a must.

Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills

Proficiency in MS Office (Word and Excel)

Attentive to details, strong analytical skills and interpersonal skills

Able to work under pressure, excellent organizational skills and good team player.
