Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute daily cash positioning, monitoring bank balances, and ensuring sufficient liquidity for operational needs.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly cash flow forecasts, analyzing variances and providing insights to the Treasury Manager.
  • Initiate and process electronic fund transfers (EFTs), inter-account transfers, and other payment instructions accurately and timely.
  • Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

2. Bank Relationship Management Support:

  • Act as a key point of contact for day-to-day interactions with banking partners, assisting with account opening/closing, documentation, and operational inquiries.
  • Support the Treasury Manager in evaluating bank services and optimizing banking structures.

3. Financial Risk Management Support:

  • Assist in monitoring foreign exchange exposures and executing hedging strategies as directed by the Treasury Manager.
  • Support the identification and mitigation of financial risks related to cash management, payments, and investments.

4. Investment Operations Support:

  • Assist in the execution of short-term investment strategies as per company policy, ensuring optimal returns while adhering to risk parameters.
  • Monitor investment performance and prepare related reports.

5. Compliance & Reporting:

  • Ensure strict adherence to DHCM's treasury policies, internal controls, and relevant financial regulations.
  • Prepare accurate and timely treasury reports, including cash flow statements, bank reconciliations, and debt schedules.
  • Support internal and external audit requirements by providing necessary documentation and explanations related to treasury activities.

6. Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities to streamline treasury processes, enhance efficiency, and improve internal controls.
  • Participate in the implementation of new treasury systems or tools.

7. Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Responsibilities:

  • Ensure full compliance with DHCM s Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Policy, governance framework, and standards by conducting all tasks according to HSE procedures, attending mandatory training, actively reporting hazards, near misses, or incidents, and utilizing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as identified in risk assessments.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications, Experience, & Skills:

  • Bachelor s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CTP) are a plus.
  • Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive experience in treasury operations, cash management, or corporate finance, preferably within the real estate or community management sector.
  • Solid understanding of financial markets, banking products, and payment systems.
  • Skills:
    • Strong analytical and numerical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
    • Proficiency in financial modelling and cash flow forecasting.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of interacting effectively with banks and internal stakeholders.
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial management software (e.g., ERP systems).
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong understanding of internal controls and financial compliance.
