Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Operation Engineer to join our team in Duqm, Oman. The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing daily operations, ensuring safety, reliability, and efficiency across the site. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to coordinate with multiple departments to achieve operational targets.

The Senior Operation Engineer will play a key role in monitoring plant performance, troubleshooting operational challenges, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives. The role also requires close interaction with clients and stakeholders to ensure smooth operations that align with contractual and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day to day operational activities to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operation standards.
• Monitor plant performance and implement strategies for optimization and efficiency improvements.
• Lead troubleshooting and problem-solving efforts for operational issues.
• Ensure compliance with operational procedures, client requirements, and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate with maintenance, HSE, and other departments to support smooth and safe operations.
• Prepare operational reports, KPIs, and analysis for management and client review.
• Participate in client meetings and represent the operations team as required.
• Manage and supervise the operations team, ensuring clear delegation of tasks, performance monitoring, and accountability.
• Along with support from other engineers, provide coaching and supervision to operational team members to enhance their motivation and proficiency.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including cost reduction and productivity enhancement.
• Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure compliance across the operations team.
• Participate in incident investigations, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions.
• Ensure effective utilization of resources (manpower, equipment, and materials) for optimal operational efficiency.
• Actively participate in internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of identified gaps.
• Drive digitalization and reporting initiatives to improve data accuracy and decision-making.
• Fully understand the company's rules and culture, strictly adhere to them oneself, and be able to rigorously instruct employees accordingly.
