Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Lead and oversee all operational activities to ensure efficient and effective freight forwarding services.
- Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with company goals and industry best practices.
- Manage, mentor, and motivate operational teams to achieve performance targets and maintain high morale.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to optimize workflows and resolve operational challenges.
- Identify opportunities for process automation and digital transformation within operations.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and vendors to support business growth.
- Oversee resource allocation, budgeting, and cost control for operational departments.
- Prepare and present regular reports on operational performance to senior management.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in operations management within the logistics or freight forwarding industry.
- Proven track record of leading operational teams and driving process improvements.
- Strong understanding of international shipping regulations and documentation.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in logistics management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in budgeting, resource allocation, and cost optimization.
- Ability to work on-site and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
