Senior Operations Training Instructor

Are you a licensed reactor operator with a passion for training and developing the next generation of nuclear professionals? We are looking for an experienced Senior Operations Training Instructor to join us.

Your Role:

As a Senior Operations Training Instructor, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle ofbr> operator training from design and development through to delivery and evaluation. You will train Operations personnel across Initial, Requalification, and Management Certification programs, administer regulatory licensing exams, and mentor junior instructors to uphold the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT).

Key responsibilities will include:

• Designing and delivering certified and non-certified operator training programs aligned with WANO and nuclear regulatory authority standards
• Administering and validating regulatory licensing exams, including written, simulator, and job performance evaluations
• Providing management-level training on plant procedures and nuclear technology
• Supporting outage activities and emergency response organization requirements
• Mentoring and developing junior instructors and national talent
• Contributing to the Corrective Action Program and continuous improvement culture

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor s Degree in Engineering or a related scientific discipline
• 5+ years of training experience, with at least 3 years specifically in Nuclear Operations Training
• Demonstrated knowledge of instructional techniques
• Must hold or have held a Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) or RO Certification at any licensed nuclear facility.
• NPO Instructor Certificate, preferred.
