Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Assume responsibility and represent the road design department for all aspects to pavement engineering.
Provide leadership in all relevant departmental functions.
Lead external & internal coordination pertinent to pavement engineering.
Review, comment / recommend acceptance or otherwise of related consultants' submissions.
Responsible for preparation / review of value engineering reports for all pavement structures.
Comprehensive responsibility for management and control of related functions in-house projects, including detailed scope definition and initiation, work progress and completion and staff management.
Performance of actual design duties as directed.
Performance of other related duties as per management instructions.
Desired Candidate Profile
BSc/BEng or equivalent degree in Civil Engineering from a reputable institute.
15 years of demonstrable experience in design & construction of pavement structures and satisfactory exposure to related disciplines.
Minimum of 4 years of relevant working experience with management capacity
Proven proficiency in the latest pavement technologies and state-of-the-art theories including mechanistic and semi-empirical.
In depth knowledge of American & British standards related to pavement engineering.
Excellent in written & spoken communication in English.
Excellent management, problem-solving, communication, & negotiation skills.
