Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, and development of scalable, secure, and maintainable web applications using PHP and the Laravel framework.
- Mentor and guide mid-level and junior developers through code reviews, technical coaching, and best practices.
- Collaborate with product management and design teams to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
- Oversee and contribute to API design, third-party integrations, and system scalability strategies.
- Optimize applications for performance, reliability, and security.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and propose innovative solutions and technologies.
- Take ownership of the planning and execution of software development projects.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring timely delivery of solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 6-7 years of professional software development experience, with a proven track record as a PHP & Laravel Developer.
- Deep expertise in PHP, Laravel, and modern web application architecture.
- Strong experience with RESTful APIs and microservices design.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, Vue, JavaScript, and modern frameworks).
- Hands-on experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Solid knowledge of relational databases (MySQL) and experience with database design & optimization.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and leadership skills.
- Strong communication abilities and a collaborative mindset.
- A passion for building clean, maintainable, and future-proof codebases.
