Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Overall 15 years core construction experience in industrial construction (oil & gas / petrochemicals), of which 5 years should be as a Sr piping Manager. Familiar with managing large scope of field or shop piping work, familiar with overall sequence of piping material management to pre-commissioning.
  • Supervise and mentor a team of piping engineers, designers, and other professionals. Provide guidance, support, and technical expertise to ensure project success.
  • Oversee the development of piping designs, layouts, and specifications. Ensure compliance with industry codes, standards, and client requirements.
  • Coordinate with construction teams to ensure the proper installation and testing of piping systems. Address any issues that may arise during construction.
  • Implement and enforce quality control measures to guarantee the integrity and functionality of piping systems. Conduct inspections and audits as necessary.
  • Develop and manage project budgets related to piping activities. Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding piping-related matters. Provide regular project updates and address any client concerns.
  • Identify potential risks associated with piping projects and develop strategies to mitigate them. Proactively address issues to prevent delays and cost overruns.
  • Collaborate with procurement teams to select appropriate piping materials based on project specifications, budget considerations, and performance requirements.
