Senior Planning & Control Engineer

Develop, update, and monitor project schedules using advanced planning tools to ensure timely project delivery.

• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to gather project requirements and align schedules.
• Prepare and present progress reports, dashboards, and forecasts to senior management and project teams.
• Analyze project performance, identify risks, and recommend corrective actions to maintain project timelines and budgets.
• Establish and maintain effective project control systems, including cost control, quantity surveying, resource allocation, and risk management.
• Support the preparation of tender schedules, work breakdown structures, and resource histograms.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and contractual obligations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Facilitate regular project review meetings to track progress, resolve issues, and update stakeholders.
• Collaborate with procurement and construction teams to optimize resource utilization and minimize delays.
• Continuously improve planning and control processes by implementing best practices and lessons learned.

Perform quantity surveying for variation items, ensuring accurate data for cost estimation, quantities, and scheduling.

• Generate and analyze schedule and cost variance reports using Earned Value Management (EVM) to support corrective actions and project decision-making.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
• Solid understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
• Experience in preparing and interpreting project schedules, progress reports, and cost forecasts.
• Ability to identify project risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
• Knowledge of construction processes, contracts, and industry regulations.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
