Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, ensuring alignment with project goals and ADNOC standards.
- Conduct critical path analysis and proactively identify potential schedule delays, proposing mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
- Prepare comprehensive progress reports, including variance analysis and earned value management, for stakeholders and ADNOC.
- Collaborate with project teams to gather and validate progress updates, ensuring accuracy and completeness of schedule data.
- Manage and control project budgets, tracking expenditures, and forecasting costs to ensure financial viability.
- Lead schedule risk analysis and develop contingency plans to address potential uncertainties and impacts.
- Prepare and present schedule updates and reports to ADNOC representatives and project management.
- Review and provide input on contractor schedules, ensuring compliance with contract requirements and ADNOC guidelines.
- Participate in project meetings and provide planning expertise to support decision-making and problem-solving.
- Ensure adherence to ADNOC's planning and scheduling procedures and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possess ADNOC approval or the ability to obtain it is essential for this role.
- Exhibit strong knowledge of project controls principles, including cost management and earned value analysis.
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or related field) is mandatory.
- Hold a minimum of 8 years of experience in planning and scheduling within the oil and gas industry, preferably with ADNOC projects.
- Demonstrate proven experience in using Primavera P6 for schedule development, maintenance, and analysis.
- Show proficiency in MS Office suite and other relevant software tools.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse teams.
- Possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Be a team player with the ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Show fluency in English (written and spoken) is required, Arabic language skills are a plus.
