Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Planning Engineer with strong expertise in civil construction and infrastructure projects (roads, pipelines, utilities, and earthworks). The candidate will be responsible for planning, scheduling, monitoring, and controlling project timelines in compliance with client requirements, including ADNOC standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 / MS Project

• Prepare baseline programs, recovery plans, and revised schedules

• Monitor project progress, identify delays, and propose mitigation measures

• Perform critical path analysis (CPA) and risk assessments

• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for management and clients

• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and subcontractors

• Ensure compliance with client specifications (e.g., ADNOC, EPC contractors)

• Support tender planning, manpower histograms, and resource allocation

• Review subcontractor schedules and ensure alignment with master program

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field

• Minimum 8–12 years of experience in planning for civil/infrastructure projects

• Strong experience in:

  • Road construction

  • Pipeline and utility projects

  • Earthworks and excavation

• UAE/GCC experience is mandatory

• Proficiency in:

  • Primavera P6 (mandatory)

  • MS Project

  • Excel & reporting tools

Required Certifications & Approvals

• ADNOC approval/certification (mandatory or previously approved)

• PMP (Project Management Professional) – preferred

• Primavera P6 Certification – preferred

• OSHA / NEBOSH / IOSH (safety certification is an advantage)

• UAE Driving License – preferred
