Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate files of planning data both in hard copy and in software/programs including Primavera-P6, MS Project, Excel and Word.

  • Prepare the pre/post bid clarifications and their responses

  • Operate and encourage a team working environment with colleagues and client personnel.

  • Maintain proper security of data, software, program etc.

  • Promote established policy and objectives throughout the department to increase awareness, motivation and involvement.

  • Ensure focus on customer requirements throughout the department.

  • Ensure that appropriate processes are implemented to enable requirements of customers and other interested parties to be fulfilled and objectives to be achieved.

  • Ensure that an effective and efficient Quality / HSE management system is implemented and maintained in the department to achieve these objectives.

  • Receive instructions from immediate superior or received client work packs and produce project plans in outline and in detail as required.

  • Develop, maintain and manage Project plan and detailed schedules using Primavera-P6.

  • Ensure all planning activities comply with industry standards and company procedures.

  • Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions.

  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers and other stakeholders to ensure project timelines are met.

  • Provide regular updates and reports on project status to senior management.

  • Report on the effect of changes, especially any negative changes to management.

  • Attend all company planning meetings and client planning meetings as directed.

  • B.E Degree in Mechanical/Civil/ Industrial

  • 15-18 years total experience with Proposal

  • 3–5 years offshore experience (MANDATORY)

Desired Candidate Profile

To review the Tenders/Bidding proposals scope, produce Tender/Bid Proposal plans & schedules, estimate resources (manpower/man-hours/trade disciplines/equipment), produce histograms/S-curves, Prepare Cost/Budgets, Analyse potential delays, implement corrective actions and prepare planning & schedule reports, risk registers
