Senior Planning Manager

Overview

We are looking for someone who has an experience managing large-scale infrastructure projects, ideally with UAE exposure.

Your role

• Actively involved in developing and implementation and updating of of the Planning and Schedule Management Plan.

• Manage a team of Planning Engineers, Managers, Analysts, and other professionals.

• Implement the scheduling business development plans and activities.

• Supports the project team and stakeholders with time management and control.

• Actively involved in establishing criteria for schedule development (schedule detail, work breakdown structure [WBS], etc.).

• Develops and updates summary level as well as detailed schedules.

• Identifies major milestones, critical approvals, and long lead procurement items.

• Actively involved in establishing schedule logic and constraints, realistic activity durations based on production rates and available manpower based on discussion with task owners and/or teams.

• Actively involved in evaluating critical and near critical path activity sequences and assessing actual progress based on site inspections.

• Supports risk allocation and value engineering workshops.

• Provides strategic project management input of the planning project including financial and resources management.

• Reviews earned value and performance measurement reports, resources (cost, labor, or material) to activities, cash flow reports, resource histograms, architect and contractor prepared schedules, post construction as-built schedules, etc.
