Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • System Design & Development: Independent development and optimization of

PLC software for a wide range of intralogistics systems, including stacker cranes,

shuttle systems, conveyors, and sorter systems, as well as automated machines

and systems.

  • Advanced Simulation: Design, visualization, and commissioning using Siemens

TIA Portal, WinCC, PLCSIM Advanced, and DriveSim.

  • Engineering & Integration: Perform technical clarifications, technical

coordination, interface implementation, and system integration, including

industrial communication.

  • Commissioning & Project Lifecycle: Lead system commissioning activities

through to final acceptance, initiate optimization processes, and provide on-site

troubleshooting and support at customer sites.

  • Product & Process Improvement: Support system planning, product

development, and standardization initiatives, while modifying and enhancing

systems to improve quality, efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness.

  • Technical Support: Act as a key point of contact for software and programming-

related queries, including troubleshooting.

  • Documentation: Prepare detailed technical documentation including

specifications, testing protocols, installation, and service procedures.

  • Training & Collaboration: Conduct training sessions for internal teams and

customers, and work closely with manufacturing and engineering teams to

resolve technical challenges.

  • Leadership Path: Future perspective to take on leadership responsibilities and

help grow a specialized engineering team.

  • Qualification: Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, technical training,

or a similar qualification.

  • Software Mastery: Strong knowledge of Siemens TIA, including visualization,

simulation, and drive technology.

  • Communication Expert: Solid understanding of industrial communication and

the ability to analyze and resolve complex interface issues.

  • Programming Versatility: While Siemens is our core platform, experience with

additional programming languages and IoT knowledge is a significant

advantage.

  • Execution: A structured, solution-oriented working style with a proactive “self-

starter” attitude and strong attention to accuracy.

  • Mobility: Must be able and willing to travel and work at customer sites as

required.
