Roles & Responsibilities
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or equivalent work experience required.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in Pre Sales Engineering.
- High level business French and English skills (Written and spoken).
- Possess a high level of oral and written communication, presentation, critical thinking and strategic planning skills
- A proven track record for meeting and exceeding performance objectives
- Excellent conceptual and technical understanding of their domain of expertise
- Experience with a CRM system, preferably Salesforce.com
- Strong competence in customer facing environment and the ability to communicate to executives on specific practice from a business perspective
- Ability to identify, structure and articulate solutions both tactically (situational basis) and strategically; with the ability to recognize patterns of needs
- Position will require up to 50% travel
- Other duties as assigned or required

- Provides higher level SME/Pre-Sales Engineering support for an assigned base of mid-size and moderately complex customers in EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa).
- Provides pre-sales design and application support for company products and services through ongoing interaction with the Sales team and with product and operations teams.
- Actively participates from a technical perspective and helps the Sales team achieve and exceed targeted revenue goals.
- Generates accurate and timely design configurations for customer sales quotations.
- Conducts technical interviews with customers to clearly define needs.
- Coordinates internal technical resources to develop sales proposals and presentations and respond to requests for proposals (RFPs) on complex, high-end solutions.
- Develops and delivers technical presentations to internal / external groups.
- Provides technical assistance, based on customer feedback and product performance, to Product Management, Marketing and Sales teams.
- Participates in internal meetings to create product packages, communicate and coordinate sales projects across departments, implement new products, solve problems and keep up-to-date with the company's information.
