Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Your role
- As a member of the Dry Utilities team you will be responsible for:
- Team leader of large design teams.
- Provide technical solutions within design teams.
- Preparing budget, resourcing and delivering to the budget and agreed time frame.
- Ultimately responsible for quality delivery.
- Produces design solutions from outline briefs and correctly interprets data and communicates it to others
- Undertake multi Discipline project management with experience of providing full project management and lead consultant duties.
- Managing own workload and the workload of subordinates within a matrix management structure.
- Active and responsible for technical growth of subordinates.
- Apply Atkins Quality, Safety & Environmental (QSSE) standards and Business Management System (CMS).
About you
- Qualified Degree in Electrical Engineering from a reputed College
- Chartered or near chartered from reputed International professional institutions
- Have relevant experience in the Middle East region of around 17 to 20 years in consultancy business working on large scale Power and Dry Utilities/ Infrastructure projects.
- Proven tack record in delivery of largescale power projects
- Experienced user of design software like Civil 3D, AutoCAD, Revito/ Amtech./ Navisworks
- Knowledge in local design codes and standards. (KSA//UAE/Middle East)
- Experience implementing quality standards and procedures
- Experience in offshore delivery model, lead office interaction, client coordination and stake holder management.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Holds a Masters Degree in a relevant discipline
- Working as technical lead or project manager on international projects
- Multi Disciplinary project delivery.

- Emotional and behavioral intelligence.

- Be highly self-motivated and ambitious
- Have a track record of technical achievement and client satisfaction within the Infrastructure projects.
- Be able to lead or mentor the team working on the projects
- Have the ability to adapt to different cultures and working environments to build rapport with customers
- Be able to build excellent working relationships with colleagues and clients
- Have the experience of using written and spoken English within a business environment
- The position is to be based in Cairo
Desired Candidate Profile
