Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Monitor and analyze process parameters, plant efficiency, and equipment performance; recommend corrective actions to optimize reliability, productivity, and emissions.
Troubleshoot operational problems, support startups/shutdowns, and provide expert guidance to Operations to prevent incidents or downtime.
Lead process safety activities, including risk assessments, root cause analyses, and PHAs, ensuring timely and effective preventive actions.
Prepare and deliver MOC packages, including BFDs, PFDs, P&IDs, calculations, design basis documents, relief sizing, and process equipment specifications.
Develop and maintain process simulation models (Aspen HYSYS, Aspen EDR, PRO/II, or equivalent) to support troubleshooting, debottlenecking, and optimization.
Manage catalyst lifecycle (planning, monitoring, loading/unloading, budgeting, and disposal) and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
Apply API, ASME, ANSI, ASTM, NFPA, and other international standards in design, troubleshooting, and operational recommendations.
Mentor junior engineers, deliver technical training, and support cross-disciplinary knowledge sharing to drive continuous improvement and technical excellence.

Provide advanced process engineering expertise to support safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations. This role ensures continuous monitoring of plant processes, equipment performance, and laboratory results against design values, corporate standards, and regulatory requirements. The Senior Process Engineer develops calculations and technical evaluations to safeguard product quality, effluent compliance, and plant efficiency, while actively contributing to the Management of Change (MOC) process through high-quality engineering design packages, process documentation, simulations, and safety reviews.
