Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsible for ensuring that all of the materials and subcontracts procured for BU's are procured through the best possible sources both locally / overseas, in accordance with technical specifications and project schedule, securing the most competitive price,responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services required for the efficient operation and maintenance of buildings and infrastructure. This role involves evaluating supplier performance, ensuring compliance with company policies, and collaborating with facility management teams to support maintenance, repair, and operational (MRO) requirements.


Responsible for ensuring that all of the materials and subcontracts procured for BU's are procured through the best possible sources both locally / overseas, in accordance with technical specifications and project schedule, securing the most competitive price,responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services required for the efficient operation and maintenance of buildings and infrastructure. This role involves evaluating supplier performance, ensuring compliance with company policies, and collaborating with facility management teams to support maintenance, repair, and operational (MRO) requirements. Performing day-to-day administrative tasks such as maintaining information files and processing paperwork. Works within a given budget to purchase materials and services Prepare and manage Request for Quotations (RFQs) Request for Proposal (RPQ's), tenders, contracts, and purchase orders in accordance with company policies. Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers to ensure value for money and service quality Ensures that products are delivered in a timely manner, and that the quality of the goods received is satisfactory Monitor supplier performance and manage supplier relationships, ensuring compliance with SLAs and KPIs. Work with the finance department to ensure timely payments and resolve invoice discrepancies. Compares prices amongst various vendors in order to make sound purchasing decisions Maintain records of goods ordered and received. Search and source potential suppliers and vendors Managing the Catrgory team and guide them to compelte requests on time Resolving Supplier Issues & expediting urgent deliveries Perform related duties as assigned by Procurement Manager / Supply Chain Director Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and legal standards in all procurement activities Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures Co-ordination between all inter-department requests & concerns Excellent Communication Skills Excelent negotiation skills Multitasking Decision Making & Problem solving Ability to work under pressure Total Facilities management, Civil/MEP/Landscaping Procurement. Internal: With Direct Supervisor and company staff External: With Government Authority, Stakeholder's and Client

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering

Experience

  • Minimum 8–10 years of relevant procurement experience, preferably in Facilities Management or Engineering environments
